Everyone has had to look for a job in their life. Other than Monster and Careerbuilder, how did you find your job?

What should i wear to a job interview at places pacsun or tilly’s, rip curl or zumies?

I applied to pac sun and rip curl, i have not turned in my application yet, but what should i wear to the job interview or when i turn in my application since they might interview me on the spot?

i heard that you shouldn’t wear flip flops or sneakers?
and can i wear jeans from pac sun to a rip curl interview?
or clothes from other brands?

Job Search?

I am currently unemployed. My benefits have ran out. Things are getting very stressful. The reason I lost my job was partly because I’m a caregiver of my father. My mother was killed in a car accident. I worked 5 days and spent the weekends taking care of him and his home. I became so distracted at work I was making mistakes. And I was having health issues and lost time from my job. I realize my mistake. Now I’m having a hard time finding another job. I’m more than ready to take my life back. Hard lesson learned. How honest should I be with future employment.? I’m sure they don’t want to hear all of what happened in my life. My unemployment time is becoming painfully obvious. I’m sure that’s it noticed when I send out my resumes. I’m online everyday and not hearing much back. Anyone have some advice?

Need help writing resume for college campus job?

I had a (decent) resume but since I’ve graduated Iwant a job on campus. My resume seems like it needs updating but nothings changed, jobs or anything else. My profile probably needs updating the most but since Ihave not established myslef in anyway yet at college or have done anything to meaningful over the summer I’m not sure how to update it. I am a high school student. I applied for a part time job after school hours. I was called for a interview and i passed it. Being non citizen, i was asked to bring my papers but unfortunately for me, a brother misplace my passport and social security card and my green card is yet to arrive. I only have my driver lincence with. I do not not what to do cos i never contacted my employer after the interview. Do i present only the driver or not to go back
