Job Search?

I am currently unemployed. My benefits have ran out. Things are getting very stressful. The reason I lost my job was partly because I’m a caregiver of my father. My mother was killed in a car accident. I worked 5 days and spent the weekends taking care of him and his home. I became so distracted at work I was making mistakes. And I was having health issues and lost time from my job. I realize my mistake. Now I’m having a hard time finding another job. I’m more than ready to take my life back. Hard lesson learned. How honest should I be with future employment.? I’m sure they don’t want to hear all of what happened in my life. My unemployment time is becoming painfully obvious. I’m sure that’s it noticed when I send out my resumes. I’m online everyday and not hearing much back. Anyone have some advice?

Job Search?

I’m recently unemployed, and live in the greater Dayton area, in Ohio. I have a 1 year trade certification in Multi-Skilled Maitenenace,and a Universal Certification from the EPA in Refrigeration. I’m having problems finding a job in my area. I’m sending out resumes on the net, constantly. It seems there is a bit of discrimination going on in the maintenance field. If you don’t have 3 to 5 years of experience, alot of employers don’t want to talk to you. I’m even willing to make a little less than what actual maintenance men get paid to just get the experience, and a job. This is a really depressing situation for me. Any meaningful advice would be appreciated. In the mean time, unemployment can’t seem to decide whether not they are even going to give me unemployment.

Can anyone recommend a great resume writing service?

I need to know how to find a job without using job search engines?

I graduated with my MBA in December and I also have a BS in Economics. I did not think I would have much trouble finding a job. I live in the Dallas area and have been trying to find a job using job search engines such as Monster, Career Builder, and Hot Jobs but four months later I am not having much luck. I went to school out of state and so the school’s resources are not of much use to me. With the internet and technology I feel as if I am getting overlooked because of the number of applicants that can apply even from their current jobs. I tried walking my resume into local companies but most do not accept resumes in person any longer. I really need some advice to get noticed because I am afraid that soon I will have to take a job that I am overqualified for because my grace period for my loans is running out.

When should I call back McDonalds because the manager said that she will give my resume to the hiring manager?

K so I have called them alot and spoke to the same manager and she said that she got my resume and that it came out Green (which is good and how they organize the resumes) She also said she will referr me to the hiring manager because of my persistence

So she told me this today, when should I call back McDonalds if the hiring manager does not call me back? Like how many days?
